FEST Pass - $75 - This year's FEST Pass will include a FEST t-shirt, admission to the the Friday headline shows at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, and admission to the Saturday night dance. Jen Kober / Mouth of Babes: Fri., Apr. 28, 7PM at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center - $50 - On Friday, April 28, funny lady Jen Kober will take the stage at the Rehoboth Convention Center at 8:30 p.m. Kober won NPR's Snap Judgement Comedic Performance of the Year, appeared on Netflix, HBO, USA Network, and Disney+, and has been tapped for a future Marvel series. Of her Women’s FEST show, Kober says, “You should expect to laugh so hard your face hurts.” She has a brand-new power hour of hilarious stories. “It is something I’ve been honing for about three months now,” she says. “It’s really strong, I’m super excited.” Opening for Kober will be Mouths of Babes, starting at 7 p.m. With more than a dozen albums and over a thousand shows between them, Ty Greenstein and Ingrid Elizabeth of Mouths of Babes are no strangers to the contemporary folk music scene. For years, their respective bands Girlyman and Coyote Grace captivated thousands of loyal fans as they crisscrossed the country, rocked festival main stages, and toured with the likes of the Indigo Girls and Dar Williams. This show is included in the FEST Pass; individual tickets are also available.
FEST Premier Dance feat. GirlsRoom & DJ Peggy Castle: Sat., Apr. 29, 7PM at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center - $20 - Saturday night’s premier dance will be to the beat of GirlsRoom, a local all-female rock-and-roll band and DJ Peggy Castle. GirlsRoom consists of drummer Jill Brady, formerly of The Girlfriends, vocalist Barbara Phillips, bassist Terri Brady, guitarists Lois McDuffee, Glenda Diem, and Kathy Nace-Jones, who is returning just for this event. Between the band’s rocking sounds and DJ Peggy Castle’s brilliant song picks, everyone will be up and out on the floor. This event, which will be held at the convention center, is included in the FEST Pass; individual tickets are also available.
Regina Sayles - $25 - Two chances: Friday, April 28, 4PM at Top of the Pines (56 Baltimore Ave, Rehoboth, DE), and Sat., Apr. 29, 1:30 PM at CAMP Rehoboth. Sayles’ acoustic-driven, singer/songwriter melodies are said to connect you to the everyday human condition. Called a vocal chameleon, Sayles belts and croons to the center of life’s heartstrings. Neither event is included in the FEST pass, but individual tickets are available.
Christine Havrilla: Sat., Apr. 29, 3:30PM at CAMP Rehoboth - $25 - Christine Havrilla will bring her unique style to the CAMP Rehoboth Elkins-Archibald Atrium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Havrilla uses the soft gritty texture of her vocals to express warmth and honesty listeners quickly embrace, backed by aggressive, raw, trash-style guitar playing and looping. She is known for her spontaneous energy, soul-felt vibes, and the musical adventures she brings to the stage. This show is not included in the FEST pass, but individual tickets are available.
Fay Jacobs - $25 - Two chances: Sat., 29, 5 p.m. at Top of the Pines (56 Baltimore Ave, Rehoboth, DE), and Sun., Apr. 30, 5PM at CAMP Rehoboth. Local author and humorist Fay Jacobs is returning to tell more stories as she continues to “age gracelessly.” Jacobs taps into universal themes with observational humor surrounding her attempts to navigate the seemingly never-ending challenges of modern life. Jacobs will perform on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Top of the Pines and again on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the CAMP Rehoboth Elkins-Archibald Atrium. These performances are not included in the FEST pass, but tickets are available.
Bingo - $10 - Two chances: Fri., Apr. 28, and/or Sat., Apr. 29, 11:30AM at Dos Locos (208 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971). Eat lunch while you laugh and dab your way to fabulous prizes. These events will be hosted by local drag kings, who will also perform a song/number. There will be prizes for each game. Restaurant opens at 1130a, games will begin at 12n. Our bingo sold out last year and will sell out again this year, so be sure to buy your ticket. Cost is $10 to play (does not include food/drink).
Singles Tea Dance: Fri., Apr. 28, 4PM at Aqua - $10 - Dance and party to the afternoon sounds by DJ Sue P. Mix and mingle with other singles. Aqua: 57 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth, DE. Everyone is welcome. Cost is $10 (does not include food/drink).
Singles Speed Dating: Fri., Apr. 28 at 2PM or Sat., Apr. 29, 12PM at Aqua - $10 - Singles speed dating will take place at Aqua, 57 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth, DE. Speed dating is a fun and different way to meet new people! Join us for a fun afternoon of speed dating with female gay singles. We hope to see you there and that you catch your match! Cost $10 (does not include food/drink).
Bowling Tournament: Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. - $17 per player. Location: At Millsboro Lanes at 213 Mitchell St, Millsboro, DE 19966. Introducing FEST Bowling! Available to purchase individual spots. $17 per player. If you would like to play as a team, simply select four spots for $68 total.
